Maximizing Your Program Investment: Curating, Repurposing and Segmentation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Many stations are looking at the idea of segmentation and how it can change their current national/local model. Curating segments into schedules gives stations the ability to shape stories for their local audiences and build their own brands within their communities.  This session will explore how various stations around the country are integrating curated content within their regular programming. We’ll hear from a variety of stations (large and small) about how they approach the idea, why they think it’s important and how they manage the technical aspect of integrating segments into their schedules with little or no resources.  The BBC and PRI will also join the panel to discuss how they’re working closely with stations to provide high quality, daily packages aimed directly at US audiences.
